Hospitality at Solar do Carmo has a unique style.  The architecture preserves characteristics of the past, coupled with modern and original designs.  For example, the metallic spiral staircase contrasted by the walls of exposed original brick-work.

The cosiness of the hotel also owes much to the physical structure of the building.  There are 3 floors, with 13 apartments. Another strong mark of Solar do Carmo is spectacular 180 degree view of All Saints’ Bay.  The deck-bar – where the breakfast and restaurant meals are served – is a terrific viewing point for this mystical bay.  At the end of the afternoon, there is a happy hour with sunset views.  Its also a perfect time to take advantage of jacuzzi to relax after a day full of roaming and pleasant moments.

The view of All Saints’ Bay is but one of the aspects of beauty that Solar do Carmo possesses.  The hotel in located on Rua Direita de Santo Antonio, famous for cultivating the historical roots of the city, both culturally - for the religious manifestations, parties, and events – as well as architecturally – with mansions and lofts approximately 300 years old, old residences of noble families and public officials.

Hotel Solar do Carmo is nearby the most famous points of Salvador’s tourism, like the Pelourinho, the Lacerda Elevator, Modelo Market, Sao Joaquim’s market, Fort Sao Marcelo, and Fort Santo Antonio (which currently houses Centro Mundial da Capoeira, which is the international center of Capoeira.  Besides these wonderful locations, there are many restaurants, bars, and cafés in the neighborhood.
